Akio Mani is shown to be quite an arrogant boxing champion because of challenging Kaiou Retsu to a fight which caused him to lose.

Akio Mani is the super welterweight champion. He went from amateur to professional without any defeates, and as a professional he won 14 fights by knockout. Genichi Fukamachi said that Mani's movements are perfect, but ultimately Kaiou Retsu defeated him without effort.
