- Similarly to the case of the Prime Minister of Japan (who was Yukio Hatoyama in the original manga), politicians from the manga who played the role of the Minister of Defense (Toshio Kitazawa in the manga), the Minister of Education (Tatsumi Kawabata in the manga) and the Democratic Party General Secretary (Ichirou Oosawa in the manga) were also replaced with new characters.
