Hanma Baki (範馬刃牙, Hanma Baki), also called Baki Hanma or Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre, is the sixth anime series chronologically. The series is a direct sequel to Hanma Baki (2021 ONA), and it adapts the Hanma Baki manga series.
The anime series was announced on March 24, 2022. The series has two openings and two endings. The first part's opening theme is "The Beast" by Wagakki Band, while Upstart performs its closing theme "Wilder". The second part's opening is "Sarracenia" by Sky-Hi, while Be:First performs its closing theme "Salvia".
Plot[]
Baki Hanma was able to overpower his previous opponents, earning himself a pardon and the blessing to carry on his journey to defeat his father Yuujirou Hanma. However, before Baki can face off against Yuujirou, a new contender may stand in his way. Underneath a waste facility in Colorado, a perfectly preserved caveman fighting a dinosaur has been found. The caveman is named Pickle and is definitely a worthy opponent for Baki before his climactic showdown with Yuujirou.
