Jeff Markson (ジェフ・マークソン, Jefu Mākuson) is a fictional character from anime and manga series of Baki. He was a former NYPD cop who was brutally beaten by Biscuit Oliva.
Personality[]
He was a corrupt and greedy police officer. After he was mutilated by Biscuit Oliva he became obsessed with revenge, even to the point of being willing to murder innocent people just to draw his archenemy out.
Appearance[]
He is a pale-skinned man with light blond hair and cracked lips. Because of an encounter he had with Biscuit Oliva, most of his face is covered in grotesque scars. In his second encounter with Oliva he wears black clothing.
History[]
Past[]
He was a former member of NYPD, who used to threaten and extort from hippies as a "secret side job". As a result of his corruption, Oliva was sent to bring him down. Markson encountered Oliva while he was doing his usual side job, and Oliva destroyed every part of his body, "barely within a limit of not killing a human" according to Markson, leaving him in a hideously disfigured shape. Ever since then, Markson has lived thinking only of avenging himself and killing Oliva.

Markson takes several people hostage and Oliva is called in to stop him. Markson then shoots Oliva point-blank with a shotgun multiple times before attempting to stab him in the heart with a katana. Unfortunately for the vengeful madman, Oliva easily manages to brush off his assault before killing him in a single blow.
Abilities[]
While not much is known about Jeff's abilities, he is probably quite good at martial arts and self defense. Jeff is also quite proficient in using swords and guns.
