Maeba Stance (前羽の構え, Maeba no Kamae; literally: Front Wing Stance) is a defensive fighting technique.
Description[]
The user put their open hands out in front of them, arms bent and close to their body. When the opponent is close enough and ready to attack, the user can execute quick attacks at close range. The stance's main purpose is centered on counterattacking the opponent.
In the Underground Arena Saga of the first manga series, Doppo Orochi used this stance in his legendary battle with Yuujirou Hanma. When Yuujirou moved into range, Doppo retaliated with fast, strong Seiken blows in rapid succession.
