New Cord-Cut (新紐切り, Shin Himokiri) is a special fighting technique.
Description[]
An improved version of the Cord-Cut technique. New Cord-Cut is a fighting technique developed by Koushou Shinogi to remedy the critical flaw of the Cord-Cut technique; that the user has to pull the opponent's body cords out using their finger and then cut them, thus leaving them vulnerable for a moment.
Instead of using fingers to pull and snap the cord, the user of New Cord-Cut utilize their finger to swiftly pull and slash the target almost at the same moment. He improved his original technique by performing a "cord pulling" at a great speed that it nullify the weakness of the the "old" Cord-Cut. Koushou Shinogi is so far the only user of New Cord-Cut.
For the first time in the series, Koushou Shinogi used this technique against his brother Kureha Shinogi in their battle during the first round of the Maximum Tournament. Later, Koushou tried to use this move in his match with Gouki Shibukawa, but is countered by Shibukawa's Aiki. In Baki Rahen, Koushou used this technique during his match against Jack Hanma to temporarily disable his eyesight.
