Offensive Xiaoli (攻めの消力, Seme no Shaorī; literally: Offensive Power of Disappearance), also romanized as Offensive Shaorii, is a fighting technique.

The word Xiaoli literally means "Power of Disappearance" and it's a chinese technique (Chinese pinyin: Xiāo Lì).

Description[]

Defensive Xiaoli produces hyposthenia, which makes it look like the user lost body mass, but also relax the body. It is like the user absorbs the attacker's whole body weight. The ultimate form of hyposthenia can unleash a punch that comes from extreme relaxation. The opposite version of it, known as Offensive Xiaoli, allows a person to put their entire body weight into their blows. With this technique, even a punch from a weak person can become amazingly powerful. Even outside of fighting and martial arts, relaxation is used in modern sports when explosive power is needed. The relaxation of the muscles right before the moment of the impact is a critical key factor for good results.

Kaiou Kaku used the technique during his fight with Yuujirou Hanma, and his withered fists could destroy a stone wall. He injured Yuujirou Hanma, forcing him to protect himself and slightly dominate him for a short while, even making him bleed.

However, like in the case of Defensive Xiaoli, the fighter cannot use Offensive Xiaoli if they get thrown/slammed into a wall or the ground due to the impact dispersing. Another drawback is that pulling out a single strand of hair can bring the fighter's instincts back and cause their body to momentarily react.

Defensive Xiaoli is capable of nullifying the power of an Offensive Xiaoli based attack, as Yuujirou Hanma was able to resist Kaiou Kaku's Xiaoli enhanced punches once he had copied the technique. It is possible however that rather than being a direct counter, whoever has the greater mastery of the technique would be the victor in a clash between Offensive and Defensive Xiaoli.
