Shachihoko (鯱鉾, Shachihoko) is one of the sumo wrestlers chosen to fight in the Underground Arena. His sumo rank is the top of maegashira.
He is nicknamed the "Thrusting Bastard" (つっぱり野郎, Tsuppari Yarō) and the "Man With the Furthest Mawashi in the Sumo World" (角界一廻しの遠い男, Kakkai Ichi Mawashi no Tōi Otoko).
Personality[]
Unlike his fellow peers, Shachihoko possess a very dynamic personality. He also looked down upon Kaoru Hanayama thinking he was an "amateur".
Appearance[]
Shachihoko is a tall highly muscular bulky tan man with jet black hair that is slicked back into a ponytail. He wore a white Mawashi in his match with Aaron Murase. In his fight against Kaoru Hanayama, he wore a black Mawashi.
History[]
Baki-Dou II[]
He was brought to the Underground Arena with other sumo wrestlers for their matches. He faces Aaron Murase and easily defeats the Mixed Martial arts user.
He fights Kaoru Hanayama in the third round of the tournament. After the fighters return to their quarters, the match begins. Shachihoko charges at Hanayama, instead of preparing to receive the attack Hanayama goes into a strange pose and punches Shachihoko in the face with a very strong destructive punch knocking him on the ground. Shachihoko slowly gets back up with a large nose bleed and both fighters prepare their stances again. Hanayama launches another destructive punch but before he can Shachihoko blocks him with a Tsuppari to the chin. Shachihoko pushes Hanayama back to the other side of the arena with a barrage of tsupparis and harites and Hanayama stops defending himself, with Hanayama keeping his stance Shachihoko begins to realize the the futility of what he's doing. The Sumo Wrestler invites the Brawler to lay into him with all he has, Hanayama punches him again but Shachihoko is able to stand this, and Hanayama uppercuts him. The powerful gangster askes Shachihoko if he wish to keep fighting, but the sumo wrestler decides to declare forfeit, proclaiming that he and Hanayama would have a drinking party. He is seen along with the other Sumo Wrestlers before Shishimaru's match, Shouhei Arashikawa questions him on how he lost to the brawling pride of an amateur, before he can answer Shishmaru buds in and says they are veterans.
