Shiko Stomp (四股踏み, Shiko Fumi, literally: Four-Legged Stomp) is a special fighting technique.

Description[]

Shiko Stomp is a special Sumo wrestling technique, in which the user performs a stomp by lifting their leg up into the air and strike as hard as they can. Raising the leg high allows the user to concentrate their entire body weight onto their feet, which results in a very powerful strike that can break the bones of opponent. However, the critical weakness of this move is that it can only be used to attack grounded opponent, and that the user has to gain some momentum before delivering the stomp, this will leave the user vulnerable from counterattack. As such, the move is typically reserved as a finishing move.

For the first time in the series, Kinryuuzan used this technique in his match with Izou Motobe to knock him out during the Maximum Tournament. In the fifth manga series, the first Nomi no Sukune used a stomp on Taima no Kehaya's back, breaking his lumbar bone. In the same series, Taketsurugi tried to perform this finishing move in his battle with Doppo Orochi.
