Sokutou (足刀, Sokutō) is a fighting technique.
Description[]
The user has to kick with the side of their foot, which can be aimed at softer part of the body such as the throat, abdominal regions or the ears.
For the first time, Doppo Orochi used this move against Baki Hanma during their sparring in the first series. He also used the technique it against Yuu Amanai. He later used it twice during his second fight against Kaiou Dorian, cutting his right ear and striking his throat. He also used the technique on Taketsurugi's left ear, although he completely severed the Sumo wrestler's ear unlike the previous fights. In the Kenjin side story, Doppo also the move against Iwao Muneuchi, cutting the judoka's left ear.
Kiyosumi Katou has also used this technique in his fight against Junichi Hanada in the Underground Arena, for a chance to be part of the Maximum Tournament. Koushou Shinogi have also used this technique against his older brother, Kureha Shinogi during their fight in the the first round of the tournament.
