Stomp (踏み, Fumi), can be also referred to as a Stamp, is a fighting technique.
Description[]
A stomp is a downwards strike with the heel of the foot from the stand-up position, and is usually directed at the head or body of a downed opponent. In other words, the fighter uses his legs to make a heavy step directly onto his opponent. Since the legs are 3-4 times stronger than arms, a child's stomp directly to the face can knocks an adult.
The technique was first used by Mount Toba, when he lost his temper and brutally pummeled Baki Hanma with it during their match in the underground arena. Alexander Gallen used the technique during his fight against the anaconda. Later in the Maximum Tournament, the technique was used again but this time by Zulu, who used it repeatedly in a brutal way in his unexpected sneak attack in his match against Baki. During the Maximum Tournament, Gouki Shibukawa used this technique in his fight against Jack Hanma in the semi-finals. In the second series of the manga, Gaia used this technique in his fight against Sikorsky. Also, Shobun Ron, a master of Iai Kenpo, used this move in his fight against Biscuit Oliva. Jack Hanma used this technique as well in his fight with Mohammad Alai Jr, mercilessly stomping his opponent in the face multiple times despite him already being seriously hurt. In the third part of the series, the Mouth used this technique to defeat Iron Michael. The one of them held Iron Michael, and the other two attacked him. They also used this technique to fight Jun Guevaru, but they failed. Also, Biscuit Oliva tried to stomp Baki's head twice but did not suceed. In the Hanma Baki VS Kengan Ashura movie, Raian Kure used this technique against Jack Hanma. Sam Atlas tried to use this move in his fight against Baki, but the younger fighter managed to dodge it very easily.
