I wanted to add this because there's not much information on how the Hand Pocket, Iai Kenpo, works. I reread the chapter and watched the anime episode. When Baki states that he doesn't know how Ron is so fast Yuujiro explains how the stance works. In the Netflix adaptation of the anime, he says, "At first glance, he looks defenseless in that stance. But he's already at the ready stance. He doesn't pull out his fist when he punches. He forms his punches by swinging his hip without repositioning his hand. Thus, his opponent can't see him pull it out. He's properly prepared. His fist is at full speed while it's in the pocket. Even if his opponent has their arms up, he will never come late. They will at least tie. That's why speed will never beat a Kenpo user like Ron." It's fair to say that Yuujiro is accurate in his description of how the technique works since characters such as Kaku Kaioh, a martial artist with 140 years of experience in the career, have described Yuujiro as a genius in martial arts.
