Yuujirou's Mother (勇次郎の母, Yūjirō no haha) is a fictional character from the Hanma Baki manga series. She is the mother of Yuujirou Hanma, wife of Yuuichirou Hanma and grandmother to Baki and Jack.
Personality[]
Apparently Yuujirou was her only child, after which she apparently went into a monastery. She suffered a serious emotional and psychological shock, when her son was born, already perceiving his threatening aura and his malice that he immediately subjected her to his will. She has great feelings of shame, fear and disgust for her monstrous offspring, and is probably unaware of the existence of Jack and Baki.

In her youth she was a beautiful woman with long black hair. When she gave birth to Yuujirou in 1960, she was immediately taken by the fear, somehow managing to understand the will of the newborn son and immediately feeling his threatening aura. Yuujirou immediately developed his own awareness. The time that she spent with her son shocked her emotionally, to the point of no longer wanting children after that. When Yuujirou began to go on his own, the mother abandoned the place where she lived and decided to go to a temple on the mountains to became a monk for the rest of her life. Later, she became the head of the temple.
